It is important for people to feel connected to their community and place, so local people and organisations are delivering the trial in familiar places, such as local libraries, halls, neighbourhood centres /houses or in some cases your own home.
There are Pilot locations in every State and Territory in Australia, though they are not in every postcode. The trials sites are spread across various locations, including metropolitan, regional and rural/remote.

The Aged Care Navigators Trial is delivered by 30 organisations as part of a consortium led by COTA Australia and funded by the Australian Government. Navigators provide support to people who require additional assistance to better understand their aged care options and will help you identify what help is available to manage ageing in the community or residential aged care. A range of services and delivery methods are being trialled to test what works best to help older Australians to make informed decisions, and to access the services they need.
