The Productivity Commission has been tasked by the Treasurer to study employment models in aged care and the use of indirect employment in aged care. Our submission has focused on the importance of any future employment models in aged care to focus on consumer choice, the value placed by older people on the relationship with aged care workers and quality consumer outcomes.
