Review of the Disability Support Impairment Tables

The Department of Social Service’s review of the Disability Support Impairment Tables was an opportunity for COTA Australia to raise a number of concerns.  We are urging the review of the impairment tables include directions on how they are used particularly in relation to assessing an impairment being permanent or stabilised.  We strongly believe that the review of the impairment tables should not be about moving older Australians off the Disability Support Pension and onto Jobseeker where they may be disadvantaged.
