The ‘Home Care Today’ project ran from 2013 to June 2017. COTA Australia continues to provide access to Home Care Today resources which were current at June 2017. However they are no longer monitored or updated, and information may not be current.
People have an understanding of:
- Their own needs
- Their preferences
- Their own resources
- Their networks and community
Professionals have expertise in:
- Needs, causes and evidence
- Assessment or diagnosis
- Services and treatments
- Systems and entitlements
It is about co-production; not just using budgets differently – but creating a new kind of creative partnership between the person, their family and professionals.
